Bill E. Goldberg


Bill E. Goldberg is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who shares here the essence of the life philosophy he developed over a twenty year period as a counselor, writer, and teacher. A central focus of his work is to facilitate movement in the lives of his clients.  To stimulate movement, he uses various modalities including the creative arts, Voice Dialogue, and emotional release techniques.

In addition to counseling, Bill has an extensive background in education, having taught at the college and university levels.  He is a Certified Seminar Leader and has conducted seminars for businesses and other organizations teaching relaxation, communication, and self-assertion skills.  His presentations have included seminars at Control Data Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aircraft, Kaiser Permanente, Litton Computer Services, and The Learning Annex.  Bill is the founder of Catch the Current Publishing, whose mission is to assist people in moving forward in their lives from a place of self-acceptance.  He is the producer of the CD, Protecting the Diamond, Communication Skills to Create and Maintain Intimacy in Your Life which has been endorsed by New York Times best-selling authors John Bradshaw (Homecoming and Bradshaw On: The Family) and Dr. Thomas Gordon (Parent Effectiveness Training - P.E.T.).  Bill is the author of The “And” Principle, Celebrating Self-Acceptance.  He is also the author of three poetry books: Catch the Current, Be Like the River, and The Journey.  He lives in Southern California, and is available for counseling (in-person or on the phone), seminars, and poetry readings. Bill also offers coaching on the application of the concepts and skills presented in The "And" Principle (The Principle of Acceptance and Integration) and Protecting the Diamond (The Art of Communication).
